How do i change the owners name on sprint HTC Hero with Google phone?

i bought a used htc hero with google phone for sprint and when i send txt the old owners name comes up how can i change it to mine?|||Well, you probably have to reset the phone back to the factory settings. When you first activate an Android phone, it requires you to sign into the device with a Google mail account. (If you don%26#039;t have one, go on line and sign up for one...it%26#039;s free). The phone will then sync all your email, contacts and calendar entries from your Google account to the phone automatically.





Sounds to me like the previous owner neglected to reset the phone.





In the settings, there%26#039;s a place where you can reset the phone to the factory settings.





Menu %26gt; Settings %26gt; Security %26gt; Factory data reset %26gt; Reset phone %26gt; Erase everything
