Is there a way to trick a website into thinking I'm located in a different country?

Have you ever realized that when u go to google.com on the home page it has %26quot;Google%26quot; and the name of the country beside it? and if u have a laptop and u access the internet in another country the name beside %26quot;Google%26quot; that you normally see changes to the name of that country your are currently in. is there a way to trick some of these sites into thinking your are accessing their site from a different country? If so how do u do something like that?

Google knows your location because of your IP Address. The IP is the address of where your computer is located. You can change your IP with this program --%26gt; http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Se鈥?/a>

or you can see your IP address (just for fun) here ---%26gt; http://www.change-ip-address.com/?gclid=鈥?/a>

yes

just put in the insishals at the back

like................. www.google.in for india

www.google.ca for canada

www.google.nz for newzealand
I think it's all based on which url you go to.

http://www.google.com.au/

http://www.google.fr/

http://www.google.ca/

http://www.google.com.mx/

http://www.google.es/

http://www.google.cl/

http://www.google.com.ar/

http://www.google.co.uk/

It is kinda funny that some of the different google pages have different pictures for their Google logo. But there might be something with your IP address that google.com uses to see where you are based in. The only issue with that is that your IP address would stay the same no matter where you go... I'm not real sure, but now I'm interested. =)
