Google groups display name?

i have been enrolled into this google group and i totally like it, the problme is that the display name that appears to everyone is my email adress, well its very annoying as its very long and funny , kindish...also id like ppl to find me easily by seeing my name , how can i change it?

When You have logged into GMail, open the Groups (http://groups.google.com).



Towards the right top corner you should be able to see %26quot;My Account%26quot; link.

Click on this.



Now click on %26quot;Edit%26quot; against your Personal Information.



You can modify the Information there !!

    I want to know how I can change the display name as Owner of the group. Some of my members (it's a simple family list) have somehow gotten an unprofessional nickname in the list. I'd really like to use each person's common, real name and prevent them from changing it.
